Do you really want to shop at Sears for a major appliance?
I have spent four week trying to get the service department to fix their dishwasher. Only to have tohave them come back because they got the wrong part. while this was happening the dorr of the fridge fell off. If you go to sear THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS. But these appliances are only 18 month old. What was your experience with Sears?
I was able to get the remainder of my extended warrenty back,$96.00 and bought another one from an appliance store.
I did read the warrenty before I purchased the product. the sales personnel stated no problem. They are standing behind the warrenty of the product and giving me my money back. The problem is they gave me a product that simply fell apart after 18 months. It seems if your appliances are good from Sears they are very good. If they need repair and are under warrenty the service department is so bad you are shit out of luck. If they are good they are very good if they are bad they are very bad.
I am recently married and(2 years). My parents and in-laws purchased a full new kitchen from sears for me. In the last month I have had to have service on the stove, the dishwasher and the fridge. I have had to take six days of of work and they are still not done. Even the toaster caught on fire and and had to be replaced after were six months married. Both sets of parents have tried to intervne with Sears and even filed a complaint with the B.b.b. Still they could not get good service
