What does my nightmare mean?
When I was 15, I had this nightmare that my mom and stepfather were taking me to this testing facility where I would have this experiment performed on me where my chest would be sliced open and I would be put in a hot oven afterward. The most terrifying element of this dream was that both my mom and stepfather were acting as though they were totally okay with this happening, and that it would be for my own good, in the long run. Then, the nightmare abruptly cut to my running from my parents in all these hallways, hearing their footsteps behind me the entire time, and them saying, “come back” while I had absolutely no clothing on. Mercifully, I awoke once the experimenters and my parents caught me at last…after having awakened, I never wanted to fall asleep again for fear that I would have the nightmare again…could someone please tell me what this nightmare means? Please? I never want to have it again….
Most scary dream’s are usually caused by Childhood trauma.
