What to do with an old toaster oven? Or other old kitchen appliances?
My toaster oven just died recently (no coils work anymore). It’s a few years old now so it’s obviously not under warranty anymore. My microwave is on the fritz lately as well, so it may not be too far behind.
What can be done with them? No one seems to fix things anymore, so I’m wondering what I can do with it? I hate to just throw them away, but it doesn’t seem like there’s another option.
Any other options besides tossing them in a landfill? Thanks.
Old kitchen appliances that are mostly metal can be brought to a recycling centers and scrapped for the metal.
Another alternative is to list it with your local freecycle group.
